PepUp Supports Chesapeake College, Delmarva's Future

PepUp, Delmarva’s leading provider of propane and fuel solutions, proudly celebrates the ongoing impact of the Lee & Audrey McMahan Endowed Scholarship at Chesapeake College.

Established in 1992 by Keith McMahan in honor of his parents, this scholarship reflects the McMahan family’s deep-rooted commitment to education, community, and opportunity for PepUp employees and their families.

A Family Tradition of Service and Community Leadership

The McMahan family’s connection to Chesapeake College is woven through decades of service and leadership. Nash McMahan, a third-generation family owner and current president of PepUp, served on the Chesapeake College Board of Trustees from 2010 to 2024, including a term as board chair.

During his tenure, Nash played a vital role in guiding the college’s strategic direction and supporting student success across the region.

“It’s been a privilege to support Chesapeake College’s mission and to see firsthand the difference it makes for local families. Through the Lee & Audrey McMahan Endowed Scholarship, we’re able to extend our family’s commitment to opportunity and growth—helping Tri Gas Family of Companies employees and their loved ones achieve their educational goals and build stronger futures in the communities we all call home.” – Nash McMahan
